The plaque unveiling ceremony of Tsinghua University-China Three Gorges Corporation (CTG) announced that it has launched a joint climate and low-carbon research center in partnership with Tsinghua University.

The Joint Research Center for the Mechanism of Climate Change Governance and Strategies of Low-carbon Transformation was unveiled in Tsinghua University on September 22.

The research center will cover research on climate change and energy economy with a focus on topics such as global climate governance, the national carbon market development, the low-carbon transformation of the grid, etc. It aims to become an important think tank that serves the national low-carbon strategy and global climate governance by providing research reports, academic publications and papers and policy recommendations to stakeholders.
